At the Bio4Mathon, you will spend two days developing creative solutions to real-world challenges faced by companies in the region.
Working in interdisciplinary teams from all fields, you will develop innovative ideas, build prototypes, and present your results to a jury at the end.
Whether you are interested in research, design, analysis, or presentation—there is a place for everyone here.

The Bio4Mathon offers you the unique opportunity to work in interdisciplinary teams and learn about the perspectives of science, technology, design, and other disciplines. Together, you will develop creative solutions to practical challenges—from initial brainstorming and conceptualization to product design. You will be able to implement and present your ideas directly, which not only strengthens teamwork but also showcases your practical skills. And along the way, you will make new contacts, network, and meet like-minded people!

Do I need to have experience in hackathons?
No! Creativity, motivation, and team spirit are enough and count more than experience.
What prior knowledge do I need?
None! You choose a role that suits your strengths.
Can I participate alone?
Yes—you will be assigned to a team that matches your interests.
Is there a prize?
Yes, the best team in each challenge category will be awarded a prize. Win tickets to this year's Circular Valley Convention in Düsseldorf!
What do I need to bring?
A laptop, motivation, curiosity, and a good mood! Materials for workshops will be provided, and food and drinks will also be available.
